RCB Cars. Here is an order form, probably from the 1990s for HO scale plaster cars. This lists more cars than appear at www.87thscale.info/rcb_pro-custom.htm . Here's a photo of the only three that I have: a '35 Ford panel truck, a 1929 Stutz, and a 1940/1950 sprint car.

Thanks for the info, zed. Always great to see some of the more obscure pieces in 1/87 highlighted.

I don't think so. I have last seen them in a 2001 Crescent Station catalog, where it was announced that they were being discontinued. Apparently Ray Babicky, the manufacturer, passed on in 2007. The best source now is probably Ebay, although I have found that the predecessors (Lee Stokes, Railmaster) are not quite as rare as the RCB models.

I have moved the RCB posts to a new thread so that the info doesn't get lost.
The above auction comprises some of the more sought after cars, like a ca. 1950 Hudson, the Tucker and a Kaiser (?). The seller claims that Le Roy Toy provided Lee Stokes, Oddo's and Railmaster with models. The last two I find curious, since I always thought that Railmaster took over some Le Roy Toy molds at a later time and that Oddo's models were unrelated to these. But then again, I don't know a whole lot about Oddo's. Maybe there is someone here who knows more about the various companies and their production histories?
