Come to think of it, the Jaguar license may have expired or will run out soon. Mattel purchased it before Jaguar was acquired by Ford and Ford may not want to grant another exclusive.
The same may not be true of the Ferrari license. I seem to recall reading something recently that said Mattel renewed its exclusive with the Italian automaker.

maybe someone could shed a little light on licensing. another member pointed out that herpa only made touring car versions of the honda accord and the alfa 155. schucco produces the V8 star touring car versions of the jaguar s-type.
can the racing teams give the licensing rights to the model companys, or do the team owners need some kind of permission from the car manufacturers to do so? thanks.

Another nice Herpa that I can Remember was their BMW Mini. I liked how that turned out.
