Now if anyone's interested I also have nine photo albums of pictures I took at last year's Mopar Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, and I have several albums of local Mopar shows in my area. But if anyone's interested, the links to the photo albums above should keep you busy for a while.

Hi Jim, thanks for sharing these pictures. Yes, I will need some time to enjoy they all, but I would like to see those Mopar shows too.

I went to a couple local car shows over the weekend. It looked like there was a strong chance of rain, so attendence of classic Mopars was down at the Chrysler Products Owners Club show in Manassas, Virginia on Saturday. The show was held in conjunction with a modern Mopar club, so there were many new Mopars in attendence. I mostly took pictures of the classic Mopars. I'm always amazed by the survivor, all original, one family owned 65 426 wedge Coronet hardtop that comes to this show. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.196942433686148.47412.100001111775214&l=45e8c58a1eAnother show that I always enjoy, is the antique car show at Sully Plantation in Chantilly, Virginia (right by Dulles Airport and the Smithsonian's Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum). It was raining in the morning, so several of my Mopar buddies didn't show up, and it was obvious that attendence was way down from last year. But, there were still some amazing cars, and I managed to take a few hundred photos. If you like multi make car shows and/ or pre war cars, its worth a look. There are two albums to look at. There was an interesting one owner original paint 4 speed 67 RT parked next to me. And I ran across an old friend of my mothers that neither my mom or I had seen since the mid 80's. I recognized her 65 Mustang convertible at the show. She and her husband bought the car new and it has always been her daily driver. It now has 450,000 miles on it (my Dodge Coronet convertible only has 350,000 miles but the engines been replaced a couple times). www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.197033283677063.47433.100001111775214&l=ef39b9e931www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.197020373678354.47431.100001111775214&l=1b77f503bb

Went to the GM show at Carlisle today. Its one of Carlisle's smaller shows. Only about 3 rows of vendors, and we made it through all the show cars, the car corral, and the vendors in about 2 hours. To be fair, tomorrow, Saturday, would be the big day for show cars, but even if three times as many show cars are there Saturday, it would still be a small show compared to the Carlisle Ford and Chrysler shows. There were some nice cars, and some unusual cars, but not many wagons, and not many 50's or early 60's cars which was what I was hoping to see. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.198958886817836.47931.100001111775214&l=eba255f0a8
