HI: While you are building those HO car dealerships by Faller, Vollmer, Pola, etc. You can do this - locate the 3 story Vollmer modern, open deck parking garage. The top will hold a couple of dozen cars, less on the other decks and with less visibility there too. Put this next to your dealership. I think this Parking Garage is now out of production but I bet you can find one at a dealer or on eBay.
Tyco made a miniature "used car dealership" and someone else makes it now. This will allow some display too. Of course you can make a larger used car dealer too.
Then there is always a junk yard for your mistakes.
Of course, this is assuming you build dioramas.
Fun is fun, Swamp Daddy

Look in Showcase #9. We did both a dealership and a repair or junk yard in one display when we were SMCC. ;D

Dear Sirs:
As I am in the process of inventory,I been getting several of the 60 and 18 drawers cabinets (the 60 drawer cabinet can hold 4 1/87 cars per drawer;hence 240 cars per) and lot of the 27 quarters plastic rectangular buckets for the packaged items. For the bigger items,I may do a special shelf for them.
This being earthquake county,I learend the proteceted vehicles suffer less damage than loose ones;this is another factor that I take in consideration when I store these items.

I must say that Jerry and I have come up with a unique and different way of "displaying" and sharing our collection. We send unfinished copies to others for finishing and displaying for us. ;D Thanks guys
