Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I started collecting 1/87 models, and recently I also started creating my own dioramas, with only one small problem: I don't have any room left to store them, so I simply build them, take some pictures, and then "unbuild" them and store away all models, buildings, etc. Here's one of my first dioramas, depicting a cargo terminal (goods arrive by train and are then delivered by trucks or stored in one of the storehouses nearby). Truck models are mainly Herpa, and car models are from Herpa, Wiking, Busch, etc. Hope you all like it. Containers are from Walthers.

Nice layout. It´s a pity that you can not enjoy it fulltime due to the storage troubles. In the other side, you always have the chance to create something new.
The ground in this layout is made of sand paper?

Nice layout. It´s a pity that you can not enjoy it fulltime due to the storage troubles. In the other side, you always have the chance to create something new. The ground in this layout is made of sand paper? First of all, I should say it is an honour to be answering to someone like you, Albert. You were responsible for my passion for 1/87 models and all diorama related issues. I've collected Jaguar models for several years (hence, my nickname), but recently I went back to my Miniauto magazines and started looking into those 1/87 pages where you used to show your creations. That fact and knowing that on the past few years (correct me if I'm wrong) 1/87 models have increased quality beyond everyone's best expectations, had me going to stores and buying several 1/87 cars and trucks, scenery parts, etc... ...and that's how it all started. Thank You for your excellent work!! To answer your question, I used Busch ref. 7085 asphalt sheets. Thanks minijag

Very nice, minijag. The temporary nature of your diorama is an interesting solution, if maybe a bit clean looking (but it would be hard to weather anything that needs to be taken down again). Also, welcome to this place of course, hope you like it.

Welcome minijag and thanks for showing your diorama to us. You've managed to cram a lot into a little space and it's quite nice. Sorry you can't leave it together to appreciate anytime but I understand space constraints. I hope to see more from you in the future.

Well done Minijag!, Albert asked the question I was going to ask when I first checked this diorama out.

I liked the pics. It's always worth the hard work when you sit back and enjoy the finished product! Keep building.
