It's fun to realize just how much is available out there, isn't it?

It's fun to realize just how much is available out there, isn't it? It's both fun and pocket cleaning, all at the same time...now I not only need a twelve step program for my HO railroad equipment, but the trucks and cars too...on the other hand, this might just be too much fun.

Quite a lot. There is a lot of "insider" information in the member area where we share in keeping an eye out for rare pieces or help each other with problems in the workbench section. It doesn't cost anything to be a member. It no longer requires seven postings, just signing in. You will never know what you have been missing until you make the effort and join us. ;D This is by far the best interactive 1/87th vehicle collecting and modeling group that I have found, bar none. This website lists as Europe, but has members from all over the world watching the Asian, American and Europian happenings in the world of 1/87th. It is more international than anything else.

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site but not new to model building and have enjoyed this since childhood. Over the last 10 years I have built several model railroads and am working on my newest project in my basement these last four years. I build many different 87th scale vehicles and most recently began building Wheel Works kits which I purchased many years ago at a show. These kits are challenging and I experience times when the small parts fly from the work bench and land somewhere on the floor. For the most part I have been lucky enough to find the missing items but I lost the bumper bracket, and headlight assmbly with horn glued on for the Ford Panel Truck #102. Does anyone know wher I can find replacement parts for this? I tried to find websites but have had no luck. I appreciate this as the model is now almost complete with scale figure in the driver seat.
Thanks,
Johnnyace

Hi & welcome.
As far as I know Wheel Works doesn't have a website. If there's an address on the box you could of course contact them that way, but they may not be in business anymore. That would leave scratch building the missing parts out of plastic etc. ...

Thank you for your reply and the info. I am still feeling my way around your site and have not mastered it. Please bear with me.

Hello everyone, I am also newly registered after months of bystanding. I have a small but growing collection of 87's from a few makers. I'm looking forward to the camaraderie.
