Here is another old becoming new. I started with a Walthers/Atlas Auto Carrier that I kitbashed a Boley Cab onto years ago. As you can see the Walthers kit represents a tractor trailer set up. The newer set ups are Truck Trailer combos with the truck being able to carry three or more vehicles and the trailer attaching below bumper level. The next phase of the project will be to modify the trailer to a low mount hitch and paint to match. Modified Malibu W900, Walther Auto Carrier, and some parts from the bin. I have to still fit a front axle and a grille we be swapped from a ton's truck. I think the rails on the truck rack could have been a little "thinner" but I think it came out good for a first try - besides I don't have $200 for the lonestar model of this type of set up.

Impressive! But you really do need to change out that Malibu grille. It just makes them look so much like a toy. The portable parking lot looks great though.

Outstanding job.
I plan on doing the same thing only with a Coronado if I can ever find a few of the car carriers somewhere. ?

Wow, first class now, great job! Although I'm nowhere as skilled as you are - I appreciate the compliment. I shaved the grill some to make it fit more flush (messing up the paint on the fender edges in the process - Dammit! ) Also added some bent stacks more like the prototype (although they might be a tad bit too tall)

Ok here is my second attempt at a portable parking lot - this one is being done for a buddy of mine. I've scratchbuilt more of the tractor rack and trailer. The tractor rack frame is thinner than the first model. The trailer was made taller like the modern ones you see on the road - also postioned for dead heading or loading.

Looks fabulous! The color choice is great and matches the Ton trucks graphics nicely.
