Is there anyone who knows more about this 1:87 model?? It is an all plastic molded model. The only thing I know is about the (later) added Preisser figure.

Hey Peter, Thanks for the information! On the other hand.... I have some doubts... The wheels on the Bentley are much better! With separate wheelnuts! But the rest of the model looks like the Aurora Snap-Kits indeed! The wheels seems to belong to the model and not borrowed from another one. I should be realy interested in the Vauxhall for instance....

I'm pretty sure it is the one I'm talking about. All the R&L models have that separate wheelnuts. Have a look at this auction from the original R&L kit: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160284727514The original R&L mold originate from around 1966, but those models were produced well into the 90's by different manufacturers but from the same molds. I think the last series was in England when they were produced as giveaways for the Shell group at the time they invented those bonus point systems at the gas stations. You collected so and so much points and could exchange the points for a little gift once you had collected enough.

Thank again Peter!
This e-Bay Bentley is exact the same indeed! I bid on the two models available. The Bentley and a Sunbeam.

A mexican company used to make some of the R&L models until the last year. They made the Valiant, the Falcon, the Curved Dash, the 1904 Mercedes, the boat-trailer and the horse-trailer, beside of lot of tt and n-stuff. This year they told me the company felt bancrupt, the molds were sold to someone. I could only get some rests of the oldtimer and the trailers. Thats a pitty, because the models were very excellent and I made lots of changes with them. Best regards nick PS the model showed above is painted very well....
