Cut the bed off of the matchbox cxt and mated it with a boley crew cab and frame. The matchbox cab is actually not that bad - so many wont notice the difference. However the matchbox 1 piece grill/frame/axle setup is a different story. So this is why I combined the Boley cab with the matchbox bed - Stripped both and voila. the black one is off road style and named the beast. i had to paint the this one black because I knew I would lose the grill (it is a decal). So even thought it doesn't have a grille now - the black just makes it look tough. I have to get around to repainting the headlights on. ;D The red cab is the later style boley with removable grill. i think the red one will be set up for the road with regular tires.

I built a similar one with the Matchbox Collectibles Ford Superduty and the Boley cab, since the Matchbox CXT wasn't offered yet. I like the look of yours better, and it's a cheeper conversion for a detailed model.
