Ferraro says the U.S. is supposed to get the Kinder Chocolate Santas this year. Sorry, but there's no surprise inside.

Yes, well done Albert! Everyone really did a fine job ... and I just might be tempted to have a go at it, too, next time.

Albert's scene was so nice, we actually created a special prize category for it.
It should also be noted that Chester Fesmire won twice (as did Albert). Chester not only had the first entry received, but won second-place in the Holiday Model competition with his outstanding Volvo "Santa" truck.
The contest keeps getting better and better. I strongly urge all the members of our group to enter next year.

won second-place in the Holiday Model competition with his outstanding Volvo "Santa" truck. I seem to be unable to find a picture of this winner. My congradulations to two very talented modelers, Chester and Albert. I see that business at Chester's auto shop is booming, at least by the pictures that he has been posting. ;D

Viewing the entry from Jurgen Zander which won 2nd. Place in the Holiday Contest, reference is made to a Tyco pick up. I have never seen a Tyco pick up truck, is anybody familiar with this vehicle ? Does anybody have contact information for Jurgen Zander ? I would be interested in contacting him about the modifications he made to this pick up truck.
Dwight
( International pickup. Jurgen started with a Tyco Ford. He split it lengthwise to make it narrower, and twice across to shorten it to proper dimensions. Then he modified the front end and scratchbuilt the grille. )
