Some of this diorama is still over in the in progress heading but Since we have this diorama section now, I'll move it here. the ferry has been named and the anchor control box has been placed on the for'deck. This family has decided to come to the shoreline for their Sunday drive and watch the ferry pass by. The vehicle is the Jordan Model T touring car.

Chester, GREAT modeling on both the ferry and the Model T. The family in the T adds a lot to the scene. Will the ferry be populated with more period figures?
Thankyou for sharing. Dave

Thanks fellas, and David, yep I kind of went crazy with those gay 90's dressed Preisers. The deck will have a lot of passengers. Even the interiors have people.

Chester, I love that ferry! The figures add a lot, is that the Captain in the window?

That water came out looking very very nice. I assume that those were the gay 1890's being referred to?

Hello: I do not know how the real diorama look but the photos look magnificent. the angles at which you are taking your photos make them come to life. You are not only good at building dioramas but in photography as well. Regards

Chester,
Beautiful and thoughtfully rendered. The selection of the figures was perfect.
A nice Down East feel to it. I can almost smell the salt air!

One last overall parting shot of this now finished diorama. I took this very early this morning on the shores of mighty Penobscot Bay near Rockport, Maine.

Chester, I thought you lived in the middle of the forests? Did you bring the diorama to the coast? If so, it was well worth it. A lovely photo that does justice to your modelling.
