According to a recent press release of Smart GmbH, 40 million of Ferrero's surprise eggs (Überraschungseier) will come with little Smart models inside over the next two years. These will be Smart fortwo, Crossblade, forfour, and roadster-coupé. See www.ho-modelautoclub.nl/ho-berichten for a picture. Although one could have assumed Chinese copies of Busch models, the items scale out around 1/73.5th scale and were developed by Ferrero themselves. For a chocolade retailing for 55 cents, I judge the models' quality to be amazingly good. Too bad they are far too big! Marc S.

How many eggs would one have to buy to find one with a vehicle in it? Or are they marked so you know what is in them?
I noticed at the top of the page a collectors section with changing pictures. One of the pictures showed a Wiking 1960 Chevrolet stakebed truck. Anyone know anything about it?

I noticed at the top of the page a collectors section with changing pictures. One of the pictures showed a Wiking 1960 Chevrolet stakebed truck. Anyone know anything about it? Not much... but the same site also showed a Tilbury Peugeot 402. I had never heard of Tilbury and thought the editors had overlooked this one - but, no, there it was in the manufacturer section. For me, though, having another Smart model is really of no interest when Busch already makes marvelous ones. Although it is quite a nice item to receive in a Kinder egg.
