A photo of Roger Dowden's model in the 1/87 Vehicle and Equipment Club photo galleries inspired me to improve this CMW International R190 cab. The photos show the filing to enlarge the windshield by thinning the A-pillars and giving it a slight arch along the top. I also filed the edges of the cab roof for a more rounded look. It would have been possible to use the kit "glass" as shown in the in-progress photo. Roof was repainted to match, then a Sharpie Ultra Fine Point marker was used to draw the rubber gasket around the window. After applying clear tape the black outline was easy to follow for cutting out the window using a sharp hobby knife.

Here is a simple improvement for the CMW 1960 Ford truck to make the roof pillars appear thinner and much more like the prototype, I took it apart then used a black Sharpie Ultra Fine Point marker to color a gasket for the windshield. The ink is alcohol soluble so any errors can be removed with a micro brush swab and alcohol.
My photo does not show it very well, In person the improvement to a light colored cab was dramatic
