I would not like to damage my Ricko cars, and don't see a visible way of opening them. Apart from the obvious uses, including passengers, painting the interior etc, I need to open my Alfa 156 as the windshield doesn't fit too well with the roof, or better the roof looks bent upwards, like there is something between the roof and the "glass" insert. I don't have the nerve to ask Mr Ricko directly, has anybody here already opened them up? Paolo loupgarou

I am looking at one of my 156s right now and the first thing I noticed was that there seems to be a small slot between the roof and the glass, caused by a protruding part of the interior mirror. So this problem might affect all of those models.
It's probably necessary to remove the wheels in order to open the whole thing, but since they are fastened in a special way to the axles it may not be possible to put them back on afterwards. From there I would try to bend the bottom plate slightly. The lower front air intakes seem to be part of it.

Well. as nobody came up with a solution, I had to try and find it myself. ;D The bottom plate is held by the taillights, they have a long pin. Then it's easy to remove the bottom plate, without removing the wheels from the axles, and everything falls apart. The problem (bent roof) was caused by the locating pin for the interior rear wiev mirror, too long. I just arased it level with the glass insert. This info is only useful for the Alfa 156, I son't know what hold together the other models. Paolo loupgarou
