Do you know about any manufaturer making rearview mirrors for cars?
Years ago I bought a dozen of sets from Roco. Those sets had some mirrors for cars among a big assortiment of mirrors for trucks and vans.

Albert, Automobilia has a set with mirrors, wipewasher and other stuff. From the rearmirrors are eight pairs inside, I think they are made in metal with the etch-technique. But not sure. Normally their stuff is highly detailed, but the price is high with 5.80€. Have a look on their site www.automobilia.de/startd.htmLook for the german words "Scheibenwischer, Rückspiegel". I think in america you can get this things by truckstopmodels, but not sure either. good luck nick ingmar

Automobilia's stuff is very nice. There is also a lot of things available at www.modellauto-wendler.de, but I can't exactly remember from which manufacturers. Things are a bit jumbled in there. I scratchbuild most of my rear view mirrors, because I find photo-etched pieces lacking that third dimension. Of course, hand carving a set of mirrors for a Chevy took several days, so it's not the easiest way to do things.

Thanks! I will look for the Automobilia set, but it seems to be not easy. They are not sold in Ebay and in Spain nobody knows about that manufacturer Well, sooner or later... I also will try with Mr. Wendler In the past I made a rear-view mirrors for the Brekina models, but now I do not find the right scratch part to begin. The first set of mirrors I am looking for is for the Norev Meharis.

Albert, Robert Müller of Automobilia will be happy to send you the items, I am sure. Just let him know what you need. Another chance would be www.m-b-s-k.de , a Duisburg hobby shop specialized on small-series and emergency vehicles. And then, you might know someone in Germany to send shopping for you... Marc S.

You will find it via the 1-87 Vehicle and Equipment Club or maybe via NMRA.org Greetz, Cor.
