I told someone to shoot me should I ever come home with something like a Touran Marc Marc, Marc, Marc. Take it from one with experience; a Toucan, or something like it, could well be in your future. Right now, the Golf is marvelous for you and your lady fair. Add a couple of kids and an MPV will quickly go from unthinkable to indispensable.

Dear Sirs:
Hm. If I had a family I would go for a (full-size) station wagon. I even know some people who would never trade their wagons for a MPV;and when some of these are for sale,I noticed that they dissapear quickly.
The Dodge Magnum comes close to it.................

a Toucan, or something like it, could well be in your future. Bill, A Tuscan maybe, but a Touran? No, thanks. As Car put it, 'Unfortunately, they forgot to style it.' Seat's Altea would be the only MPV I might eventually be considering one day, or if I went for full-size transport, a Volkswagen Multivan. I might give up my apartment under that condition and move into the VW... For taking one or two kids to school, I prefer a Volvo V70, a 330d or 535d touring or maybe an A4 Avant. Until then, I will continue dreaming about that Smart roadster-coupé test-drive Marc

My daughter just purchased a 2000 Subaru Outback wagon and although I fit rather tightly (I'm 6'4" tall), I'm quite impressed. Magnificent repair records as well. This would be a consideration of mine if beginning (again) a family. Any 1-87 Subarus?

No models of the Outback as far as I know, just the rallyversions of the Impreza as keychain from Prodrive and kit from Evrat (?, not sure)

The wife and I with our son went to the Los Angeles auto show back in 1980 looking for a four door hatchback. After looking at everything on display we all agreed that the Subaru was the best on the market for the price. We bought one then and another in 1990. They both were excellent all around vehicles as far as I am concerned.

Dear Sirs:
There are two cars that may debut in 1/87: the Dodge Magnum and Pontiac Solstice, Besides the Crown Vic, I may consider these two. There are models of the Solstice already; I am waiting for the Magnum. Both of these vehicles are interesting because they indicate the return to rwd on american passenger vehicles along with the new Cadillac STS. The GTO does not count;that is a Holden.
