I think that these models could be…
1: 1949 Mercury Station-wagon 2: 1949 Chevrolet sedan 3: 1949 Pontiac panel van 4: 1950 Chevrolet Pick-up 5: 1951 Odsmobile Holiday Hardtop (fine, I didn't know this model was so neat) 6: 1947 Chrysler Town and Country convertible 7: 1947 DeSoto Sedan 8: 1950 Chevrolet Panel van
I've seen the truck presented as a "MO Dump truck"

Did Lee Stokes make models in any other scale?

Shows me what I know about Cadillac. Thanks Sylvain! Did Lee Stokes make models in any other scale? A few in 1/43 apparently. I have of course never seen those.

I think I have one, 1950 Chevrolet Taxicab. Interesting in that it looks like a big version of the HO cars. Its clearly a Chevy, but the shape and lines are all a little off.

I don't know about the first two ones, but the third could certainly be a Studebaker. But there is something strange with the front grille, very different from the 2 Lee Stokes Studebaker I've got, which are also 2-door sedans of the same years (1947 or 1948).
Have any picture of the rear of the model?

I took some pictures of Lee Stokes 47-48 Studebaker (sorry mine is actually a copy and not the original my uncle cast it to modify, I have posted some pictures of a modified plymouth convertible he was working on) that I believe Sylvain is refering to. You can compare them to the pics of the Studabaker posted by Christian. Christian's is definiately a different year, or car?? (I often confuse cars from before my time) hope these pics are useful. www.dementia.org/~mark/ls.html

yes, it's a Studebaker 2-door sedan, no doubt about it. The rear of your model is similar to the one I've got. And mine has also W6 on the bottom. But the front grille is definitively different. I'll send you a picture of mine.
mrbst30 is a Starlight Coupe.

I have a vintage catalog (around 1954) of Railmaster products which look like they may be painted Lee Stokes models. If anyone wants pictures of it let me know and I will be glad to email them to you. Eric, Christian and Sylvain already have them.

I think the one you think is a Studebaker but don't know about the grill is a Kaiser or Frazer of 47-49. That Oldsmobile is a 98, which shared body sheetmetal with Cadillac and Buick Roadmaster. The DeSoto sedan has a GM body, like Pontiac Streamliner, Oldsmobile, but that is definately a DeSoto Grill.
