A Caddy Nomad! Wow! Who'd have thought it possible? Nice job!
Reminds me, a retired fellow in my town has a 62 Caddy pick up (conversion by him) and it is so good, it looks factory-real!

Here's a 1955 caddie nomad. I made it out of 2 Aolly forms cars. A 55 chevy nomad and a 55 caddie. Cut the roof off the Nomad and put it on the Caddie. Moved the B piller back to keep the caddie a 4 door hard top. Also chopped the roof 3" and made the ft and side windows. Painted the body a candy metal flake blue with a sliver and blue metal flake roof with a kustom pattern on it. BMF the whole car. This car has about 4 layer's of clear on it. Custom seat cover and Steering wheel from Pitstop87. Wheels from Disney Pixar Cars 2 Micro Drifters (Hudson hornet)… Wow… It would have been an interesting car in real!

I don't even know the guy, just saw his car parked at a curb once about a year ago. I'll try to track him down and see if I can take some pictures. Al

Here's a 1928 ford sedan.Made from a Highway Miniatures kit. I new from the start how I was going to build this. Started by building the body with out the roof and chopping it. Then made a kustom frame for it, kustom floor board, headers, 2 carb intake. Channeled it over the frame. Made wood slats for the roof. Photo etched parts from Pitstop87.com Steering wheel, shifter, speedo, and grille. Seats are orange metal flake. Body is brown rust with sanded down weld line around the chop. I like that 28 sedan! You've got much better eyes than me when you can put detail on that small of an engine!

Man, that is a lllooooowwwww rider! Looks like you couldn't drive over a pebble without bottoming out!
The steering wheel sure looks nice (can't see the other details in the photos) - much more to scale than some of the styrene ones out there.

OK so here's another 57 ply wagon. Once again all I did to the body was paint it and decal it. Its gold flake roof with green flake side panels with some real crazy tribal decals over it. Once again used wheels from Disney Pixar Cars 2 Micro Drifters ( the 59 impala lowrider car) Then to top it off, I have it sitting on 3 wheel motion. Here's a 1957 ford fairlane. Made by Willimas bros inc. I started konwing that I was going to keep the roof clear. To make it look like a custom concept roof from the 50's. Hosted on FotkiThen I also knew that I was going to paint it with a real real shinny Spectraflame color. So to get that look I had to BMF the whole car expect the roof that was taped off. Hosted on FotkiI then went and painted the body. Hosted on FotkiSo now that all that was done. Then I took the tape off the roof, then went and re BMF the trim and window frome for the roof. Hosted on FotkiAfter that. I started putting her back together. Found some good wheels and got her all done. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiWent with a 70's style lowrider look with it.

Wow, nice work on the 57 Ford. Your interpretation and the original styling work well together.
