Dear Neo,
I just received my first 2 vehicles, the Caprice Classic in each color from TSM. These cars are so good I don't want to take them out of the box! WOW! is all I can say. Please consider more American vehicles from the 1980's and 1990's. Sedans are perfectly ok with me too!

It seems like Neo have a tad uneven quality control. If those models mentioned above are so good, then it’s a shame that their recent Saab and Volvo-models aren’t up to that standard. They were quite recently reviewed in one of Sweden’s bigger hobby magazines and at a Swedish forum as well. The general opinions were quite on the harsh side, primarily due to the crude appearance of the models.
Especially the Saab 95 had so big flaws, and where so roughly executed, that it is virtually a whole different car than a Saab 95. The Volvo 244, albeit some peculiarities, are slightly better but have slip ups that are annoying. Among them is e.g. that the colors of the taillights were reversed (the turn signal lights should be placed at the outer end and not innermost); trim details that sat askew and so on…
I can’t say that I was impressed and if one regards the price compared to the performance, then Neo won’t stand a chance if perhaps Brekina comes up with other versions. This is a pity since Neo did have interesting models and a good reputation before, but short cuts like these don’t benefit anyone.

Does anybody know about numbers 87366, 87367, and 87368 from Neo, the Chevrolet GMT 610 ambulance? In other words, will there be American versions or at least all red, yellow, or white versions with some striping? If yes, I will buy all 3 versions in a second. Of course, an American version would have all red, all clear, or a combo red/blue light bar on top with matching lights on the body. It is a 2000's era Chevy ambulance, and I would love to see at least 2 American versions with simple graphics and the word AMBULANCE on all sides.

As far as I know the Chevrolet GMT hasn't been released in any version yet. As things at Neo go, nothing is certain about future releases but I agree that American versions would be a good and obvious choice.

Christian,
Thanks for the response; let's hope that at least 1 American version comes out if the ambulance arrives.
Also, I'll take 2 new colors on the '86 Caprice Classic because that is one of the best HO vehicles ever done, period. Keep them coming Neo!

2 New colors for the Caprice are now available. Brown metallic and gray metallic. Also two new colors for the de Ville. And the Bentley SIII Mulliner Park Ward Convertible and the Chevrolet GMT are also available.

mstar,
Thanks for the great news on the Caprice Classics and Caddys! I have to get a Caddy or two now. Also, did you happen to see all 4 versions of the Chevy ambulance, and was there at least 1 American version? Once again, thanks for the update.

Tony,
That Chevy GMT does look excellent, and it would be excellent to see one done in US liveries with US style lights. If I'm not mistaken, the most modern Ambulance for the US market in assembled plastic or metal is the Busch E-Series Ford from the mid-90's. We could use a newer one!
I absolutely agree with the Oldsmobile suggestions and I would add the 1970 Olds 98, 1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme, and any year Olds Toronado. I can only think of 1 fairly modern Olds in HO: The Model Power Olds 442.

I just took a look at the Neo website and the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham has to come to HO! Please consider this car because I would get every color.

Neo has released two new models. The 1966 Fiat Dino Spyder 2000 and the 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Both come in two colors. Two other colors will follow.
