Looks good to me; I'll check my Brekina dealers for at least one of these.

Outstanding it looks like I'll be ordering at least eight of these from Walthers. Glad to see there finally coming down the pike.

Well I've ordered my A-100 vans from Truckstop Models since they are now in stock. They don't have the Walthers exclusive vans nor the Pan Am van, but I'm getting all the the colors of both panel and window vans. I'm hoping that Brekina also does some with Dodge's factory two toning. I especially would like to see the two tone treatment on the window vans since many of them left the factory with the two tone paint with one color being a white band around the circumference of the entire van. It would be a pain to paint the white band myself since it would cover all the "Dodge" lettering across the front and on the doors, and would require removing or masking the head lights and tail lights. I hope they do a panel version as vintage telephone company trucks for Bell Telephone and C&P Telephone. I remember these were used extensively as telephone company service vans back in the day. I think most were painted an ugly dark non metallic green.

A friend of mine had one of the A-100 phone company vans that had windows on one side and no windows on the other side.

A friend of mine bought one at an auction. It was the Bell green, but the markings had been removed.
I also purchased one at auction. It came from the government testing lab on Plum Island. The color was gray with black markings.
The Bell van had windows on one side, while the gov't van had windows on both sides. Both had the slant 6 engines and 3 speed manual trans. With the metal engine box completely inside the cab and no AC they were extremely hot to drive.

I dont know anyone who had a Dodge van prior to 1971.But when the Van craze hit all you saw was 1971 and up Dodge vans, they were very popular and in my opinion the best looking of the Big 3.The A-100 had the 225?

A-100 vans (and the matching A-100 pickups) were also available from the factory with small V-8s in addition to the 225 slant sixes. The 273 and the 318 V-8 were both available (depending on the model year). A buddy of mine is currently looking for a restored A-100 pickup, but he is only considering those that have the V-8.

The best way to get your wishes fulfilled is probably finding some good images of the vans you want and forward them to Brekina or Walthers.

Jim, If they make the van in white then you could just paint the roof and bottom and not lose thhe lettering around the belt line. Charlie, The Little Red Wagon! Had a mid engine 426 hemi and was a wheel stand show type dragster. First 1/24 scale model I ever built. I'm looking forward to tearing into one of these to make the cab over highway tractor Dodge built using the A-100 cab portion (D-700??)
