I am going to be my normal bold and daring self by opening a thread for someone else. ;D F. John has been in email contact with Jerry and sent some more photos which I thought should be shared with everyone. Please pay attention to the vehicles and the street scene and over look anything else that doesn't belong on this message board. ;D Now if we could just get F. John's friend, Jim Veil, to join us........

I love the crumbling street and the gutterpane. Looks like Brooklyn.

Nice work John! It makes me miss my layout. I really like the details, the stuff in the trailer, manhole cover, trash in the street, you really nailed it. Jack

F. John, Where did you get the Mobil tank truck in the second photo of the earlier post by Lee? Jack

Jack,
That tanker was originally marketed by " Lee Town ". It was later taken over by " Alloy Forms ", which is what my model is. The Lee Town castings are cleaner, if you can find one. Look on ebay. I have found Lee Town kits there before.
Best wishes,
F. John

Great models, great shots, great layout. Amazing how much a vehicle model comes alive when seen in front of a believable/suitable background.

Dear All:
I went via the middle of the way and never had (or will have) any children. Hence the 17830 (as of September 1st, 2007) miniature vehicles present on the apartment. No Domestic Police as well.

Marge and I had four. Now we have four, plus a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law and two grandsons, plus one more grandchild due next March. Fortunately, only our teenaged daughter and 10-year-old son live at home.

The last of our 4 moved out 2 weeks ago but the room has already been designated as a spare bedroom. Which now makes for 3 spare bedrooms. I will never understand the workings of the female mind.
