painting thin lines try painting mat clear tape with water base paint as it dont chip off use steel ruler cut into hair thin strips add to car i apply clear works for me nwak49

nwak49 - that sounds amazing. Do you wait until the paint dries completely? Any particular brands?
and lastly, do you have a pic available?

no i do not have pictures i use model master acryl paint the clear tape 1-2 coats let dry then cut into strips can use other colors beside sliver nwak49

Very interesting idea. Not only can you get a color, a straight line but also some thickness as a chrome strip would have. I think the idea would work great for doing "woodies" ;D
