I see where the Hobby Expo is coming to Los Angeles in October. www.ihobbyexpo.com/If you go to the map and put your cursor over a booth, you can see the various manufactures signed up so far. At $11.25 per square foot, I don't think Jerry and I will be doing any show and tell. We will just play looky loo with the rest of the the herd. I'll take my camera.

We were thinking on an auction (maybe at ebay?) once we know the total value of the collections, but first we'd like to let pass a little bit of time to let people know the collection. B.T.W. the web is not working again, try later. I'm sorry for using you as a Guinea Pig The question is which eBay? You would probably do better on the US or German ebay than the Spanish ebay. (Albert may kill me for the above statement ;D) The best time would be from mid-fall thru mid-spring when everyone is indoors. There are two types of prices. The asking price, which can be very high, and the selling price, which is what someone really paid for it. The best you can do on pricing is finding ballpark figures. Almost a waste of time in my opinion. Europians seem to want their vehicles like new from the manufacture where as Americans seem to be willing to buy anything. Good luck with your venture, Lee

First, Welcome to the message board Gabriel. Are you selling the 1/87th collection intact, as one complete item or are you going to break it up into sections or individual pieces? There are some items that I would be interested in, but not the whole collection.

Marc, You might want to check and see if the P.O. box in Carlsbad, Ca.shown at the bottem of your notice is still a valid address. Good luck on your third show. Oh, and please do sign me up for the special model.

I talked to Jerry about the idea of a kit. He said each piece has to be cut and fitted so it would be easier for him just to build the whole wood part of the vehicle. The rest - front, rear fenders, seats, etc would be the kit. You would just fit the wood body to the rest of the pieces.

When things are done by hand, one thinks in small numbers. Resin casting is done one by one, taking one's time to try for the perfect casting each time. Making the wood parts for the woody would take a lot more time per kit as they would be done by hand, even with the using of jigs. No lazer cutting here.

That would be a whole nother kit.
I thought about selling a solid block of resin and including instuctions to remove the unwanted sections. ;D

Hmm..... For $40.00 we probably would include a scale set of templetes for cutting out the wood youself ;D
