Man! Been a while since I put any in progress shot up eh? Well here's a pretty basic kibash of the Jordan 34 Ford school bus with a scratch built moving van body.

Magnificent model Barnaba! Perhaps some aging to the asphalt surface or maybe just some oil and dirt stains on it. First class modeling on the crane.

Great paint Sylvain, some nice additions to what must be a massive collection by now.

Thanks Dave, I'm sure you'll be able to find some clear leader of a good size somewhere in Fla. I hope you don't have to buy the whole roll though, it's pricey stuff. And yes, I cut thin slices off after heating them (holding it close to a flame) a little to get a convex shape to the end. BTW, the lenses in the Imex Ford are done the same way.

Thanks Dave. I shaved the round parts off of the headlights that come with it, drilled small holes to center a clear lens made from 80 lb. clear shark leader (you know, for fishing) paint silver and glue lenses on with wh wood glue. Hope they stay put. This is an Imex '48 Ford with a scratch built wrecker unit and bed. New grille and headlights with a rear window cut out of the Imex piece. Wheels are from Miniaturmodelle.

A brief departure for me in this older Athearn WF cabover. Done in automotive lacquers with many additions.

This is the Don Mills resin kit of the Mack LTL which was made with a lot of aluminum parts. I swapped out the Alcoa rims for steel and moved the air cleaner to the curb side to make this into the steel version of the same truck that Mack made, the LTH.

Thank you Thomas, the quarter fenders are corrugated roofing in 1/87 scale used by model railroaders for structures. It is aluminum. I might suggest looking at some model RR supply places as I think the folks I got it from are out of business. If I come across any I'll let you know.

This is the Brockway 758 resin kit from Ralph Ratcliffe. Added to the kit are the quarter fenders, heat shield, mud flaps and side marker lights.

As you may have guessed, I had a few of these Sylvan '37 Chevy's laying about. This one has had 1 1/2 tanker bodies from Jordan spliced together and a walkway bed built for underneath it. I really dirtied this one up.

I can't seem to be able to locate the Bub web site anymore. Anyone have info regarding this manufacturers status?

You need to build a Studebaker dealership for these beauties David.
