Methinks he'd be missing body parts if he had that machine around any of us. \OK, I went to an antique construction equipment show yesterday which was a total bust. Very little equipment and not very old at that. Anyway, the static display at the Owl's Head Museum has some very interesting and unusual pieces. Pardon the lack of descriptions, I was so into photographing that I forgot to read what it was I was taking pictures of.

Yes I think the wheels on the first picture are just using when it stand still. When it's driving they go up.
Chester, I suggest that you go back there and take a good look so you can tell us!

Here ya go Cor, it is a 1908-1912 Scripps Booth Bi-Autogo. It was powered by a 45hp V8 engine with a compressed air starter. It road on the two large wheels when in motion and the smaller wheels on the sides were lowered when it as stationary. Here's a little blurb: www.ohtm.org/1913biautogo.html
