What should Santa deliver to you if he can get it down the chimney this year? Trying to be realistic, I'll take a few of the Iconic Replicas Excelsior transit buses. Maybe another handful of the Ricko 2005 Mustang models to fill out my auto carrier with them.
And, after the Holidays we can see if we were naughty or nice by what he brings .
Have fun, Swamp Daddy

Where is everyone on the site , in years past this was a popular thread. Sad when a good site slips in participation .
But, regardless, lets have fun, Swamp Daddy

Yes, it is quiet around here...
For Xmas I'd like some 1950s English cars in 1:87. There's lots in 1:76, some in 1:72, but precious few in 1:87. I know that there's a Morris Minor, and a few Wieco cars, but there's a whole lot of really pedestrian four-bangers that your average draught horse could out-perform, on its own! Morris, Austin, Hillman, even Ford contributed the cars that were familiar to me as a small boy in Broken Hill in the 1950s.

Yes, I've tried to buy from this firm, previously. It does seem that their only payment system is effective only in the EU.

Must be an awful lot of naughty guys on this site if you are afraid to even ask Santa for anything. My sources say Santa has been busy on my behalf on Ebay - good going Santa!!!
I did buy myself one gift already (on the ol'slow boat from China); it is a holder for a Kleenex box made to represent a standard shipping container. Might be a good thing I don't have a wife anymore to see this sitting in the bath room. Couldn't resist buying one when I saw them.
Must be a few more of you still on 'good' terms with Santa to speak up -- let's hear from you.
Have fun, Swamp Daddy

I want the Oxford Charger--I know they are not out yet, but Santa can leave me a 'raincheck' LOL.

Some new pre-WWII American cars and trucks would be nice. Oxford's 1936 Buick was beautiful, as were the Ricko Cadillac and Lincoln from many years ago. Please sir, may I have another?

I was just mentioning a few of the ones that I liked. Although it is pre-WWII, the '41 Cadillac is a little too new for me but I have the Airflow models in three colors. Thank you for mentioning the LaSalle -- this is the first that I've heard of it and it looks fantastic. I like the dark red* color better than metallic beige* but they're both worth having. And, although not American, the red Delahaye* is a standout, too. My interest is in cars that were (or could have been) in southern California in 1939. There must have been a movie star or studio executive who had a Delahaye. *I've just ordered these!

Don't know where it was in '39, but last time I was in L.A., this Rolls Royce was in the Petersen Museum. I finally had to hint to Santa to take it easy on the gifts as soon I wouldn't be able to afford the cookies and milk for him. I promise that this year the dog won't rip your pants (like he did last year) as you come down the chimney. Let's all tell what we got the day after Christmas . I'm getting more new HO items this year than in the last two or three years combined as in those years some household necessities took precedence over hobbies.
Have fun modeling, Swamp Daddy
