Several months I was able to get a rare 1/87 B.D.B. Austin Healey. This model is a white metal body in cream white with painted detailing and non-rolling rubber wheels. I researched the 87thScale manufacturers section and discovered that these seem pretty rare. Another collector I know, who's big into old English sportcars, wants to know what would I would sell it for. I've checked all the auction sites and I haven't found another B.D.B. model listed anywhere. Considering it's age and scarcity, what do you folks think would be a good price for it. Thanks very much for all your time and help. [

It really does not matter what we feel the item is worth. The value of a rare item, or any other item, is the amount the buyer or buyers are willing to spend. Perhaps somebody on the forum has buy / sell history of these items that you can use as a guide line. The value of the item will be different for each of us. I do not have interest in that vehicle, so a good price for me would be very low, while another with interest would value it much higher. Without buy / sell history nobody can really give you a "good" price.
Best of luck with it. Dwight

I agree with Dwight. Shouldn't sell the model myself, but wouldn't buy it for any price eather.
