Thanks, Christian,
On the list is a 1957 Dodge COE, but the website photo is of a prototype truck, so does anyone know if the model is just a cab, or a complete truck?
Thanks,
Al Carter

Al,
most, if not all all of Peter's truck cabs come without a chassis. I'll see if I can get a photo of the actual model.

Sorry for neglecting the forum for a while, I've been here only once in a while with half an eye and probably missed a lot. I've been busy with other stuff lately so please forgive for not reacting right away. However, Christian brought the discussion to my attention, so I'll try my best to clear things up. My truck cabs generally only consist of two parts, cab and interior, both cast in resin. No chassis or wheels or glazing. However, I'm thinking of upgrading some of my cabs with a thermo-formed glazing, mainly the ones with a rounded windscreen, like the '57 Dodge. But I'll have to get around in doing so first, so as of right now no glazing is provided. This is mostly the case for the car transkits, too. The car kits are very alike, body and bottomplate with interior, but they also come with a glazing. I stopped providing resin cast wheels for those as almost nobody was using them for their builds. But I still provide some sort of "hubcaps", discs that can be used to modify existing wheels. But this is only the case for those prototypes that feature a very specific rim design, something that would be hard to replicate with the available aftermarket parts. For American prototypes that is mostly not the case. Cor (dutchart) is a very reliable source for my kits and his public advertising is certainly better than mine. You can however also get all of the above directly through me. Thanks, Christian, for posting the updated list. I realize that the exchange rate is not in favor for those ordering from the USA but I'm also up for trades. If you don't like to part with models, there's a few small thing I'd like to order but can't because they don't send abroad. It's a hobby and I'm not in for a profit, so we'll certainly find a way. There are lots of other models in the pipeline, many of them from the US, 60's and 70's mainly. My next will be a '65 IHC Pickup,'71 AMC Matador and a '74 Dodge Monaco. They should be ready to order next month. You can find pictures of my available models on my Flickr page: www.flickr.com/photos/79454319@N08/sets/72157633388464352Peter

Thanks Peter! That Flickr page is a great way to present your kits. I like your new announcements, too. Any interest in the IHC Travelall?

Yes, sure, the Travelall is on my mind. I was already rooting for that one here back in the days when BillC was collecting opinions for the Masterbilt model range. Time to do it myself, I guess. Also planning for a Travelall II, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
That Matador is kinda ancient history, too. Remember Mark4design / Smalltorque models? Mine will be made using the same data set for 3D printing! They wouldn't, so I will...

Thanks, Peter,
The Flicker photos go a long ways to illustrating your products, and I am looking forward to the 3 I bought from Cor.
Question regarding the 57 Dodge COE - what chassis is it sitting on in the photo? And the 62 International Loadstar as well?
You can bet I'll buy a International pick up, and a Travelall as well, when they become available.
Christian, I'd like to see the photo of your finished model of the 57 Dodge!
Al Carter

Al,
actually, I don't have that particular model (yet) but I'll show some of my other 87 RPM kits when I find the time.

The chassis I used on the Dodge is from a Roskopf Berliet truck and the IH is sitting on a chassis from ADP, wheels from the parts bin. But I just slammed them on the next best thing in reach for the photo. I guess you could kitbash those nicely with some of the Sylvan kits, but haven't tried that yet.

I received my 3 cars from Cor yesterday, and they are really nice castings that Peter has created. Won't need much clean up at all.
Question: What do you folks typically use for wheels for these cars (65 Rambler, 64 Impala, 62 Fury)?
Thanks,
Al Carter

For my part, I use wheels from Busch (ref 49951).
Not the best, but it works not too bad.
