Here's another kustom I just got done with. It's a 1955 caddie 4 door. Made by alloy forms. I chopped the roof 5 scale" and dropped it so its laying on the ground. Kustom fitted a 1950 buick grill into the front of it. BMF the bumbers and trim, but left it off the winndow frames to focus on the kustom painted flames on the hood, roof, and trunk. The seats are silver so you can see them. Had to make a front window for it cuz these didnt come with one. Anyways here's the car. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

Got more done. Here's a 1934 ford stakebed from Wheel works. Hosted on FotkiWanted to make this a one of a kind RatRod. I call it "Won Ton Rat". What I did to make it look like it done now is, I bent the frame so it'll sit lower, I channled the body over the frame, Cut into the bed so that would sit lower and cut the stakes so those sat lower aswell. I added the big ol blower motor and put a 1/87 scale HW BoneShaker grill on the ft. Opened the doors and painted it a nasty bownesh black. To give it a real oldy like look. Oh and made kustoms pipes coming up that back of the cab. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiIf I can get around to it Im going to put some boxs of Won Ton soup in the bed. Well see. That may never happin.

Here's a 1929 ford pickup truck I made for a customer. It from Athearn. What I did to it was chopped the roof all the way off, Made a kustom frame for it. Put a LS1 motor in it from a HW 100% car and have big HW's wheels on it. Slanted the window back to give it a more kustom look. Painted it a old rusty ruff paint job to give it the old look. Here's another one. Its a 1927 chevy HotRod. I took a jordan 29 ford to make this car. I had to chop the body all up. 1st I cut it to be shorter. 2nd I sectioned it. 3rd channled it. 4th shaved the whole body down smooth. Had to build a kustoms frame for this one too. I cut the window down, cut to fit the seat in it. Kustom made dash with PE speedo by Pitstop 87. Kustom made 32" shifter. The motor is a small block 350 with kustom made carbs and air cleaners. The motor is made by Allow forms. The ft wheels are Jordan and rr wheels are 100%HW. The gas tanke is HW aswell. Also there a PE grill part that you cant really see. The paint is high gloss white with mettle flake pink pin. Here's what the car is based on. www.rodandcustommagazine.com/featuredvehicles/0809rc_1927_chevy_modified_roadster/Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

Here's a 1959 Chevy Impala From Alloy Forms. I turned it into a LowRider. Here's what I did. Sanded it down and repainted it with a Sliver base and a Metal Flake green over that. Put some custom make Decals for the drak and light green paint panels. Painted a Heavy green and gold metal flake on the roof. Custom decals for the seats that you cant see. BMF the whole car. Took 2 hr to do. Made a custom ft window for it aswell. Wheels from a Disney Pixar Cars 2 Micro Drifters (JAG CAR) And a chain steering wheel from Pitstop customs. Very nice! I have often thought that customs seem to be mostly and curiously absent from 1/87 vehicle modeling , so it's great to see such creativity. The chain steering wheel is particularly interesting - and new - to me.

Thanks Christian. I love building RatRods and kustom models. Your 100% right about customs being absent. Iv done alot of looking over the net to see if anyones building Ratrods and kustoms. I couldnt find anyone. I had a guy find me inseat. Here's his WebSite. www.pitstop87.com/This guy is the only one I can see building RatRods and or kustoms that I can see. Not saying no one has never built one. But thats just it. They'll build 1 or 2 and there done. As you can see, thats all I build. I think once I get my name out there, and more builder see that it can be done. More will jump in and start building them. So thanks alot for the kind words.

Samuel, Your customs are looking good! Your treatment of the rag top on the 59 Impala looks like the roof on the 63 Impala SS.

Your not the 1st person to tell me that. I layed the paint on the roof real thick so that might be why it looks like that. I dont know, maybe just bad mold too. Who knows.
But thanks for the comp.
