Went earlier, but the lines were massive...looked and they had about 15 or more at the original Yuma 99 Cent Only store; but I have not been to our even larger new one--would it be worth buying all of them, do you think? Not like $15 or $20 is a big deal, but I don't know if they would be an investment of sorts. Maybe I'll throw them on Ebay myself!
Edit--broke down and bought out the last 23 buses at the store. I will probably try putting them up on Ebay, which will be a first for me, and at $1 USD investment per bus, I don't anticipate too many issues.

OK, searched through Ebay and found one of them for $15.99 or best offer. But the guy is selling out of Reseda, so might have done the same thing--bought all the ones at his local 99 Cent Only store, or went all over the greater metropolitan area of L.A. to the 99 Cent Only stores and bought them out. Another one from the same guy in Reseda is $7.99 and a whole bunch of them are selling from Germany for about $20.00/bus. One is a little steep at $35!

Dear Hemicuda:
The issue with this items is that are of promotional and historic value at the same time;if they are a monetary asset is anyone's guess.Last year,I got a bus commemorating the Sochi Olympics and even this one is a guess if it will ever be valuable.
As a note, bus industry in Brazil is a firmly established and important business and foreign buses are not seen on cities or roads. That being said, the fact that they used Hyundai buses to carry the teams is a sort of event that does not happen very often there. So,for the bus fanatics as myself, this is an event of sorts captured in miniature.Similar event was Road Champs Eagle Coaches with Greyhound livery. When Greyhound bought Continental Trailways, they inherited the Eagle Coaches. But Greyhound preferred the MCIs,so these Eagles had a short life with Greyhound logo.
I will go there tomorrow morning and get all of them myself, because I always buy buses on fleets.Again, many thanks.

That were no Hyunday busses. Hyunday was main sponsor of the games. That's why it has Hyunday on it. Beside of that, it were just promotionals. The real busses were very different from these.

Dear All: I gave a glance at these games once and I remembered to see Marcopolo Buses carrying the teams.I looked at Google, and sure enough, these were coaches with Marcopolo bodies.Too bad Maisto did not reproduced them.Their buses are Hyundai Universe Coach, and I do not have any of these at the collection.I would had preferred they had molded the correct bus,tough.Nevertheless.I will get several of the Maistos. My bad for not checking,The Brazilians are very protective of their bus Industry, period.

I have been researching Ebay, and found some other low cost ones out of Ontario (California). By the way, the 99 Cent Only store versions come in the blister pack instead of the long, collectible boxes, so if you were to open them to display on a diorama or on a shelf, you couldn't really put them back in the box later on. If you wanted a package deal on my 23, let me know. I will find out how big those postal service boxes that you pack as much stuff as you can and it ships for the same rate (up to 50 lbs or so) are and how much it costs to ship nowadays, and pack all the busses and send them out if you're interested. But before we get to that point--keep checking all the 99 Cent Only stores in L.A. Now that I am thinking of it, I will be in L.A. on March 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, in Burbank, for the Monsterpalooza horror convention. I can drive them out if you wanted them!

Went to the Schuco site and they now show most of their latest cars as production cars. The 2 versions of the Ferrari are now models and the Porsche targas and convertible are all models as well as the 'Cuda. Can't wait for the Ferraris and the Porsche, and of course, the lime colored 'Cuda (I have seen that on American Excllence so will probably order in the next few days). schuco.de/en/models/edition_187/cars/

I too want the lime green Cuda, and I also want the white 68 El Camino, and blue 69 Camaro convertible. I wish the 4-4-2 was being made in a color that would pass for a stock 69 Oldsmobile color. I'll pass on the Olds. Would have worked better if they had made the Camaro orange and the Olds blue.

Dear All, I realise we have not heard absolutely everything from the Toy Fair for 2016 yet, but nothing so far has really grabbed me. Bit disappointed with Brekina as they usually have one model that excites me. The Opel Kapitan 1964 is ok, but not that exciting considering already done by Wiking, though of course, Brekina version will be better. However, just seeing the Wiking announcement and an Opel Kadett GT/E. Now, if that is a Coupe C model version, then happy days. Have not seen confirmation of model or prototype pictures yet, so a little in the dark, but really hope it is. This model has been on my wish list for many years now. Fingers crossed. Thanks, Gary
