Is there a U.S. distributor for Bub models? I am interested in their 1952 Ford pickups and their 66 Shelby Mustang. Does anyone have these models and if so, a review of them would be appreciated.

I've the Mustang. It's an interesting model, rather nice, but I've never reallly liked Bub models. Comparing with the Busch Mustangs, it seems rather in scale: same lenght, but a little wider. Here is a picture of the rear anyway. I don't have the Ford F-100. With no glazing, and the BUB names on the hood, it looks more like a toy to me.

Thanks for the pictures. If it were cheap and easy to find, I might buy the Shelby Mustang. Do the wheels roll? The Ford pickup looks like it would be easy enough to add window glazing to. The glass would be flat. The BUB name where Ford should appear is a minor annoyance. I would like to see one though. I always like the 51-52 ford pickup. The old Mini Metals 48-50 Ford pickup is the same basic body style, but with a different grille. I really dislike that the Mini Metals version of this body style doesn't have a rear window.

On the Mustang, the wheel rool.
On the F-100, the problem is not that they have replaced Ford by Bub, it's that they have adapted the model to write BUB. So on the front of the hood, they have written BUB where there should be holes.

I can't seem to be able to locate the Bub web site anymore. Anyone have info regarding this manufacturers status?

BUB is changing the website, nothing to be worried about.
