Although I haven't received the models yet, I am already disappointed! The MiTo is actually a 147, the Ferrari California not even a Ferrari at all (but a Porsche Boxster!) and I'm pretty sure the Aventador is actually a Murcielago. All in all, they are not what they say to be and it looks to me that most of the models are actually just copies of Schuco models (only the Japanese items are not). If this kind of mislabelling would happen in the States or Europe, it would be lawsuits all over!! Sabuu, it is disappointing that some of the models were not labeled correctly. It could be that just the set I received had these errors but I would tend to doubt that. On the other hand, the Integra Type R is in fact the correct model and this has not been made before. Mine is molded in red and the outline and length looks accurate. As for the Aventador, I have finally figured out why it looks different from the Murcielago and not quite the Aventador. It is in fact the Lamborghini Reventon.

Got my 16-Pack today. It's a funny lot, everything that's already been said is right. Sabuu is right, most are copies of Schuco/High Speed-models even to printed numberplates from Fürth on some models. But what can you expect for 16 models at a price for just over 10 Euros (including shipping from Hong Kong!). I already like the Nissan and the Honda's......... Jan

Dear All:
I received my (1/64 scale) pack today and they are the following:
1.Dodge Magnum 2.Porsche 911 S 3.BMW X5 4.BMW M3 5.Dodge Charger 6.Porsche SUV 7.Subaru Impreza 8.BMW Z4 9.Mitsubishi EVO 10.Dodge Viper 11.Porsche 911 12.BMW X6
As far as I can state, the boxes identify the right cars;no issues on that - all are over represented in three inch as well, but what I like is the fact that they are kits - as were the Lindberg Mini Lindys, but the body is metal - and are inside re-selable bags,as the Furutas (so I do not have to cut them;a very big plus to me). What I did not appreciated is the fact that they sent the large box which holds the 12 boxes on an envelope;so some of the boxes and the large box were a tad 'massacred'.Not the quality of Greenlight,Auto Art,Minichamps or M2/Castline,but I liked the kit format.
By the way,can someone give the www. to order the 1/87 cars? Here only the 1/64 version www was given.Ordering the HOs next.
I am really thankful,Matt.I always like the odd/obscure toy/model manufacturers in all scales.

So did I. The parcel seems to be arrived and I will find it when returning from holidays next week. Very quick, cheap and efficient at first glance. More in due time.

Dear Francois,Jan:
Thanks, really.Already went to the site and ordered all 16 of them.I quite liked the 1/64 versions (and the 'building' involved) so I am pretty sure I will like the HO-based models as well.
Thanks one more time.

Today I received my 16 models and I eagerly gave them a better look. The plastic material they’re made of is actually of pretty good quality, and not a single model is bent or curved or anything but perfectly straight aligned and nicely engraved with details such as door handles, door sills, air intakes, etc. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fitting of the windows (without gaps) and the tires, which are made from rubber and so they fit nicely around the rims (although the rims themselves are in some cases a bit too small, especially the ones on bigger cars like the Land Rover and Lamborghini, and not always prototypically correct, but that can be easily solved by using ones from one of the bigger ‘firms’). The fact that these models have opening doors is quite funny, but they don’t fit that well and so they will leave some annoyingly big gaps! Most of the models are direct copies of known die-casts, sold under various brands (Schuco, Model Power, Malibu International, High Speed, Welly) and so that means that they have the exact same size as well, so most of them are spot-on 1:87, others a bit too big (Mini Cooper). The printing on the models is not always nicely done (some have GOLD light clusters!) and usually not accurately aligned where they should have been, and in some cases just wrong but in a funny way: the Mercedes CLK has in fact TWO printed grilles, one on the front and one on the back between the rear lights!! The biggest surprises to me are the Lamborghini, the Nissan and the Honda’s, all of which are not copies of known models to my knowledge and therefore perhaps own tooling, which could mean some more models in the future?? Here’s a list of all the models, with the name and number they’re sold under, followed by the actual prototype they represent and the colors I received them in: 01. Lamborghini (Aventador) LP700 = Lamborghini Reventón ’08 (black) 02. Mercedes CLK 350 = Mercedes CLK Cabrio 350 ’05 (white) 03. Audi A5 Cabriolet = Audi A4 Cabriolet ’01 (white) 04. Subaru Impreza STI = Subaru Impreza WRX STI ’05 (blue) 05. Nissan 300 ZX = Nissan 300 ZX IMSA GTS ’94 (red) 06. Honda Integra Type R = Honda Integra Type R ’02 (blue) 07. Porsche Cayman = Porsche Cayman S ’05 (red) 08. Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA = Alfa Romeo 147 GTA ’02 (red) 09. Porsche Carrera = Porsche Carrera GT ’03 (gray) 10. Mini Cooper = Mini Cooper ’00 (gray with black roof) 11. Mercedes S 600 L = Mercedes E-Class ’02 (black) 12. BMW 745i = BMW 745i ’01 (gray) 13. Jaguar XK = Jaguar XK ’05 (black) 14. Honda Odyssey = Honda Odyssey ’04 (red) 15. Land Rover Discovery 3 = Land Rover Discovery 3 ’04 (gray) 16. Ferrari California = Porsche Boxster S ’04 (black) Here are a few pictures: 4D & Schuco Discovery 3 Schuco Murciélago R-GT & 4D Reventón (with new (Herpa) rims) 4D models with opening doors High Speed & 4D Impreza WRX STI Schuco & 4D Carrera GT

Some additional pics of the more interesting vehicles: Rietze Puma & 4D Integra Type R (with new (Herpa) rims) Kato 300 ZX Twin-Turbo & 4D 300 ZX IMSA GTS (with new (Herpa) rims) Herpa Galaxy & 4D Odyssey (with new (Nissan) rims) birdview As you can probably already tell from the pictures, the models are not all exactly 1:87 in scale. When comparing the sizes of the actual cars with the models, I calculated 1:85,7 for the Integra, 1:90 for the 300 ZX IMSA GTS and a meager 1:94 for the Odyssey (although when compared to Herpa's 1:87 Galaxy, it doesn't look that small, so apparently in reality the Honda is a much bigger van). The funny one: it seems that 4D's CLK Cabrio 350 has 2 engines! ;D

Just got my models. Most are High Speed copies as already stated. The grilles etc are printed but not as well as the high speed originals. As others have pointed out several models are not what is pictured on the box. BUT they were cheap and they remind me of the cereal box premiums Kelloggs and others did when I was young. I am sure modern railroad collectors will be happy to have few of these on layouts and it should be fun to put them together.
