Took some time to digg this treath up! In Sweden they are developping a brand new model. It's the Scania Vabis Capitol. The roots of this bus seems to come from Mack... By Jeco

Two items today. Got a Dennis Dominator double deck bus (left hand running) on eBay. Photos later on.
And, I received word via the HO scale bus site that Minatures by Eric will be reissuing the White 788 and 798 models soon. Several here mentioned missing them on the last production run. These are short run production, high quality resin models. Check out availability at his website, Minatures by Eric, and get them before they are gone again.

Hello all: Having been inactive for several years I am making up for lost time while I can.
From Iconic Replicas (1/87 diecast) are: MCI J4500 over the road bus MCI D4505 over the road bus Van Hool J4500 Bus, OTR bus Van Hool CX-45, OTR bus New Flyer Industries Excelsior XT40, transit bus
between Herpa and Rietze there are too many new European models and paint schemes to mention. I would normally post photos (that would appear here) via my Photobucket account but they no longer allow 3rd party hosting; so, I’ll add links to them later on in a new post.
Of particular interest to me is the XT40 transit bus available as a diesel or CNG (compressed natural gas) bus. The main difference between the two is the equipment mounted on the roof. This is a separate piece on the XT40 model. And, I am hopping a new roof pod to make an XT40 trolleybus will be available soon.

Hi everyone: Iconic Replicas has a modern version, MCI J4500, of an Amtrak California motor bus, on eBay here: tinyurl.com/yczor2rd, and it looks nice.
This in reply to an ancient post in this thread.

Hi all: Just won 2 more Eheim trolleybuses ; these are working models powered and guided by the overhead wire . My trolleybus fleet is really expanding and I'll post photos when they arrive here. I probably have too many power units but some will probably be sacrificed to an experiment to guide them using Faller Car System components. I will stick with the more compact BRAWA overhead rather than trying to erect my own 2-wire overhead wiring.
Several years back I bought a Busch GMC new-look fishbowl, Edmonton 158 (in real life this was a trolleybus in Edmonton); however the Busch model is their standard diesel model and came with no poles or trolleybus details. When Edmonton got rid of their fleet, Dayton bought two to try out on their system; but, the Edmonton units had too much rust and Dayton didn't buy more. This year I got the second Busch model, Dayton 110 which is one of the two Dayton units (bought from the Edmonton trolleybus fleet).
I have since bought poles and retrievers to add to the Busch units; I'll probably have to make my own "cowl" to go around the poles on the roof.
Once the Eheim units arrive I'll photograph them with the Busch units.

Finally, photos of some new trolleybuses are up at my PhotoBucket pages : s258.photobucket.com/user/swampdaddy_01/library?page=1 The new ones are a picture of the whole Eheim and Brawa powered fleet, individual pictures of the Eheim 3-axle tour bus with luggage trailer, a photo of the Brawa 3-axle articulated transit bus and two photos of the Busch GMC trolleybuses from Edmonton and Dayton. The latter two units are trolleybuses in real life but the Busch models lack poles, retrievers, and roof-top pole cowling which I will eventually add to the models. Perhaps not mentioned previously are a photo of a VK Modelle model of a Breng (Netherlands) trolleybus model also a static model. I've finally made sure that all photos have titles and a short description if you click to enlarge them.

Hi all: Got a couple of cute, very little, Chinese motors with attached gear head as further items toward powering a model trolleybus via the Faller Car System. I am slowly buying the quite expensive parts to do this.

Iconic Replicas announced in June 2020 forthcoming models of the Flxible 53102 New Look transit but. It's quite similar to the GMC New Look unit but distinctive enough to be quite attractive. Four color schemes available to start. Check them out at www.iconic-replicas.com/buses showing them but no order numbers yet so apparently not here (from China?) yet? Click the "BUSES" line and click the "Coming soon" link in the drop down menu to view them.
Following their usual way, more color schemes will come out after these.

Hi to those left here: Acquired two more Eheim trolleybus models for parts only. Both were in pieces having apparently taken a dive from a diorama table to a hard floor. But as I only paid $9.95 the 8 tires alone were worth the price. Other parts will be used as needed. It was a power unit with trailer in blue/cream. I may try to make an articulated unit from the two or some other kitbash from the few usable parts among the two.
