What a beautiful model! And it isn't even painted yet. Astonishing work. Your casting quality also seems to be top notch. Please keep us updated with your work and insights, it's very inspiring for me.

Very interesting, beautiful model. The four part cast for the chassis was an especially cool solution.
Always nice to see pics of the moulds on here, thank you!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
Yes Skunk, the four piece mould worked out fairly well. It took me five nights to make it. One piece still bugs me a bit ( not enough vents in it I think ) and I may redo it.
Now I must paint one, I guess!

16 pieces, that's very ambitious - and I like the result a lot!

I love the trailers. Especially the big Spartan with the wrap around front window. Any plans for making a Spartan Crescendo? Be a nice intermediary between the Spartan you have there and the larger "mobile home" kits available from some of the big companies. The Spartan there was one of the first types to be built as a "Park Model" so would be good for the early trailer park OR as I understand it as a rolling bunk house for Combine Harvester crews to this day. I'm looking forward to when those trailers are for sale.

I wonder if there is a market for such things. It was tried before bij some others, never heard of them anymore... If I'm wrong... OK! I don't know enough of the things you like over there!

Thanks Matt, I'm not familiar with the Cescendo. I'll have to go looking for that one. Perhaps it may make it on the to do list.

Yowza! That thing is huge. What does one use to tow it? Duramax at the least, I am sure.

Yikes! That is huge! In one pic there they are using a tow truck to move it. After some research I find that the thing is 50' long, 10' wide, and 10'high.

Yup the Crescendo isn't a camping trailer. It was one of the first "Mobile Homes". But it fills an earlier era then say the City Classics trailer or any of the others I've seen in the Walthers Catalogue.
