You can now sort the columns to your liking by clicking on any of the column headings.

I am so new here I don't even know the proper protocol, so I'll just jump in. I have come by two trucks that are marked Authenticast. One is a flat bed and the other is like a farm truck with the open box in back. It also has four wheels in back and two in front. I also have two cars, not marked, one with a folded top at the back and the other without the top but must have had one at one time. I also have a piece of construction equipment that has treads, a triangular engine area and a seat with two controls in front of it. This too is not marked, but they are all very heavy. I suspect they were also repainted at some time. Does anyone know what I have? Thanks very much for any information from a very newby.

Hi & welcome. Civilian Authenticast models are quite hard to identify. Do you have any photos of them?
As for the database, I am still working unflinchingly on it and I must say that it goes way better than I expected, although slowly. 10,600 entries are now online and I'd like to point out again that help is welcome. There are still many more model listings that need to be converted.

Is this database still available? The server is asking for a username and password.

Hi Everyone, Although i'm new to the site, I have been collecting toy/die-cast cars since I was 8 years old (40 years ago.!) I have written a few bits & pieces on various sites over the years (Tales of Toy Cars, Majobase etc.. & sent a load of info to Bill Manzke for his book 'Corgi jr. & Husky models' guide, which I recieved an acknowledgement for) My main collection is of 1/64-ish scale cars/vehicles (as you all know, the scales vary considerably when collecting matchbox, hot wheels etc.. 1/50 small cars/hatchbacks up to 1/100+ buses/trucks.!) So even though i've never really considered myself as a collector of 1/87th scale, I have many vehicles in and around this scale in my collection & recently (within the last few years) I've been finding myself drifting into buying more & more 1/87th vehicles, just because of the sheer range of vehicles available (most never been available in 1/64th) recent additions being- Norev's Glas V8 2600, Wiking Volkswagen Phaeton, Rietze mitsubishi gallant taxi, Wiking borgward isabella coupe + a host of other weird and wonderful loose plastic vehicles. (Many unknown/un-named/unbranded) I'd like to ask for info & help with identification on many of these vehicles. Where's the best place (page/section) to post photo's? and also wanted to ask what's the best way to upload pictures here? (I use 'Imageshack' often as one of the many admins on the 'IMCDb' , but don't know what's best or used here?) Thanks to this site, for the chance to contribute some pics & at the same time get some help with the Unknown
