Well I finally kicked myself into gear and finished the 2007 SubLime Charger Daytona. I started with the Ricko Police Charger, ended up breaking the driver's A-pillar (multiple times) lost the mirrors and carved new ones, and started messing up the custom Daytona decals. Wheels are from Malibu and paint is Tamiya. I'm not 100% happy with the results but at least it's done. Richard O.

Sweet ;D. It looks like the real thing.
There is nothing sublime about this one, and I'm sure the cops will take notice.

Very nice, I like the color and the trim work looks good.

Nice looking project, the Powerwagon makes a nice "junkyard" model. What is your trick for cutting the doors and hood open?

I'm on a roll this holiday break... Finished the 1966 Dodge Dart using the Mailbu/Reel Rides 67 Plymouth interior and wheels/tires. Also found this old Stoney Mountain casting sitting in my stash, painted waiting for final detail paint and assembly. It probably sat that way for 10 years! Enjoy! Richard O.

Enjoy I do, these beautiful photos of your models. Your Dart is a great transformation from the Eko, nice color and a lovely model. I found myself looking a long time at the chassis detailing of the Stoney Mountain Ford. The muffler, lights, and front axle add a lot. The Ford COE is one of the Stoney Mountains I really regret missing out on. Dave J

They are some great photos for sure. And of some great models too. The Dodge is a really magnificent transformation and I too am sorry I didn't grab a Stoney Mountain Ford.

Nice models Richard, they look great. I parked next to that same exact color Daytona saturday at a train show. My four year old loved it of course, but personally I thought it was a bit much.

I'm sorry I didn't take one of everything when I had a chance. At the time I wasn't interested in having a collection of what I had been casting. Jerry was offered anything he wanted but he didn't take much either. Now we could use them.........................

Here is another one off the bench: 1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer, modified from the Malibu/Reel Rides pickup. Obviously I removed the roof and about 1-scale foot from behind the doors, but I also removed the upper body trim, modified the front bench seat into buckets, added a rear seat from a VW van, added ROCO wheels/tires on a 'lifted' chassis. The top is scratchbuilt from Evergreen styrene. Richard O.

Richard,
Beautiful job!
Even if my eventual Real Ride/Fresh Cherries modifications turn out only half as nice, I'll be happy.

That's really a terrific build Richard. Good color combo too. Excellent work.

Great work on the Blazer, Richard. It looks well proportioned and neatly done. I like it. Dave

After all the disscussions of the new Athearn Ford F-850 grain trucks, I decided to take an evening to change it. I removed 4-scale feet from the bed, two-feet from the wheelbase, added fender-mounted turn indicators and weathered it. Now its ready for work. Richard O.
