Truly nice work, Sylvain. Your police cruiser looks just like some cars I remember from the early 1960s.

Thanks Bill! Joe's Dodge Dart is really a nice model, it was fun to paint it as a police car.

Nice work Sylvain I especially like your blue 1960 Plymouth. Your modifications to Joe's 59 Ford and 62 Dart look great. It looks like you have added MANY new photos to your albums. Is the 1958 Olds in coral a new photo? Really nice model. Dave

Very, very well done again, Sylvain. Nice to see you back with the american cars. You have one of the most impressive collection I know. Was afraid you wanted to change to the "french-connection", now were lots of nice models appears from france. I like especially the Dart Police as well. The fine painting is artwork. Good luck nick ingmar

Thanks all for the kind words. "Changing to the french connection"? NEVER! Even if I must admit that all these new french models by Atlas and the kits for SAI-Rétro 87 are tempting… No, the only reason why I've not finished many american models lately is really the lack of time. I've still many other models to built, as Joe has sent many of his latest models. And what interesting models they are!
About the 1958 Oldsmobile, no, David, it's an old model. If I'm not wrong it was on of Joe's first hollow cast model. I like it too. This color combination was available in 1958.

I just want to add my congratulations on magnificent work again Sylvain. We are never disappointed when you show us new projects. My favorite is the Dart police version too.

Sylvain:
I love your work, you do me proud. I have never actually finished the 60 Plymouth four door, so its nice to see one completed.
Love the 62 Dodges, as you know, my daily driver is a black four door...just like the one you modeled. Very neat!
I'll be sending you some more new models very soon! Still can't wait to see the 62 Plymouths completed.
And yes the 58 Oldmobiles was the first hollow cast and totally from scratch models I have made.

I have the Revell HO model kits of the 1961 Chrysler Corp. cars. My first (real) car was a red 1962 Dodge Lancer GT. I painted the model of the 1961 Lancer red, even though the model is a 4 door.

Sylvain, On my new project, I am painting the trim first and then the body color, all by hand. I will post a picture when I'm finished. Jack

Sylvain, your models are always impressive. I tried your method of painting the trim first and then the body color without much success. What type of paint do you use? Jack

Thanks Jack! Well, I only use simple Humbrol's Enamels, some Lifecolor's Acrylic for some metallic body colors, and Humbrol's Metalcote for the chromes. Three more models from Joe: Plymouth 1958 Plaza and Fury, Studebaker Lark Cruiser 1961

Sylvain, All are very nice. Its a treat to see your work on casting from Joe and Jerry. The Eko Dart surprised me as I have not seen it finished before. It is great to see you have found time for your hobby even while being very busy.

Thanks Dave! It's true it has not been easy to work on models these last months. But I hope to be able to finish a few other models very soon, including Jerry's 1953 Packard and Joe's 1959 Plymouth Hardtop.

Again Sylvain, you come up with beautiful work. Joe's 58 Plymouths really stand out to me.
