Dear Sylvain:
I am joining the group of the ones who appreciate your work, plus the photos of your built vehicles. Nice job. I know that I will see more in the future.
Best Regards,
Nick K

Thanks Nick! Next will be Stephen Talaga's Studebakers (1948 sedan and business coupe) and some more of Joe, 1958 Dodge sedan and station wagon and 1961 Studebaker taxi.

Sylvain:
It is almost painful to see these models; they bring back so many memories of by boyhood in Detroit when my Dad worked for Chrysler. I remember many of these cars in our driveway.
Beautiful work. My compliments to you and Joe.

Well, thanks Bill, that's most kind of you. Once again, the compliment must go mainly to Joe.
For my part, I'm sorry most of these cars are only in my dreams…

Sylvain, Ah, you have added more photos to your album. Maybe some models completed earlier? I especially enjoyed this one. Your model brought back childhood memory, as the copper color was what I associated with the 57 Olds as a small boy. fr.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/archi187/detail?.dir=a070&.dnm=f86e.jpgI also have this casting from Joe, although not started yet. Congratulations to you and Joe on another great model. David

Thanks again! In fact, I've noticed that there is no more space limit for the yahoo-photos galleries. So I've decided to show every american models of my collection (at least, the main one, of cars from 1937 to 1967).
There will be more also in the "France" gallery when I will have found the time to build all the L'Obsidienne and SAI kits I've.

Sylvain,
As always it is a delight to view your models. Great job painting the stripes on your Shelby Mustang.

Sylvain, I came back for another look during lunchtime at work. (My home PC monitor is not so good for photo viewing.)
These models are outstanding, and I am absolutely in awe over the finish and fine detail painting of your 1954 Chevrolet
cheers, Dave

Well, thanks. I'm not so sure they are so "outstanding" but thanks again. The green and yellow livery of the Chevrolet 1954 is a strange but accurate two-tone combination, and it's rather good looking on this model.
Painting the stripes on the Shelby was something I was afraid to do. As a matter of fact, I have this model painted in white for months, waiting for its stripes, and could not decide myself to finish it. In real, the blue lines on the side have a more complicated design, but I'm not able to do more.

The pale yellow and green livery is very handsome on these cars, and I have wanted for a long time to build another 1953 or 1954 Chevrolet just because I like these colors. I have a photo from a car show of a 1953 Belair convertible in these colors.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone made a Shelby decal set, that way one wouldn't have to risk it all by painting stripes. Good job, too.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone made a Shelby decal set… THAT will certainly be a good idea, especially for the small stripes on the sides of the car. Thanks again for the kind words, guys.

I think now you guys are beginning to understand why I am so willing to give one of every new model that Cutter does to Sylvain. His painting really is out of this world.
