OK, I lied, the stake bed wasn't the last Zis 5 I had. This is. The mixer body is a cast metal kit from SSLtd. and is a real bear to assemble.

Fabulours model, Chester, just fabulous!
Your models are great, but, once again, your way to photograph them is just fine!

I found a photo of a grocery truck like this once but it could be for moving just about any goods. You're probably going to be seeing more of these Roco trucks soon, I just received quite a few from a good friend and have more on the way (thanks Christian). The body is what comes with the truck that I cut the front half open and added the safety bars also the steps on the back. It's actually not finished yet, I want to add roll up canvases to the openings.

This is just an exercise in weathering on the '54 Ford F series from Classic Metal Works. The really awful wheels were replaced with those from a Jordan 40 Ford sedan.

Chester, I have a question ´bout the ´54 Ford. The weathering seems great, but I have a doubt: was it a green car with too much rust, or is the green from a plant? In the first case I wouldn´t agree with the rusting, which normally starts at the corners and less over the surface. Than I´d like to see a photo from the front. The barn for the photos is genial, I like the fine details and worn out space. Great close up photos. Good luck nick P:D: The Rims of the ´40 Ford seems perfect for the model. The Jordan´s are one of the best and detailed kits.... isn´t it?

Nick- Depending on the area of the US cars rust diffrently... Here is an example of what Chester I think is going for... badattitudes.com/MT/archives/rusty%20car.jpgIn the western states the paint just wears off from the sun and the entire body will rust all together, Here in the northeast, whay you mentioned is how they rust... Thanks Andy, the look of the rust I was going for is what you're referring to. It is a surface rust as opposed to what Nick is talking about which is 'cancer' rust that starts from within and works it's way out to the fender wells and low body parts. This photo actually got me started on the Ford. Nick, thanks for the nice comments on the barn interior. And yes, I believe the Jordan kits are extremely well detailed as well as being a great bargain. Here's a shot of the front of the Ford. Different barn here.

I see! Than you have made a perfect weathering on the Ford. The rust on the grille goes perfect with the rest of the car. nick

OK I told you all there would be more of these Roco pieces so here's one in a tractor/trailer configuration mated with the Sylvan 22 foot Trailmobile van trailer. The cab has been extended by about 20 scale inches for an integral sleeper.

This combination is pretty much all Ralph Ratcliffe resin pieces with the exception of the chassis. The Mack is his solid cast DM with Ralph's fuel tanks battery boxes, and air cleaner. The tri axle gravel trailer is a new kit from Ralph. A quick and nicely detailed kit to build.
