Anyone who wants to see the junk pile up close and personal, Chester has it along with some other neat items up for bid on eBay.com. Hmmm. I could rationalize that winning this auction would be less expensive than airline and travel expense to visit Chester , but it is harder the rationalize that the it's winter in the north country and the money tree in my yard doesn't have any leaves Good luck on the auction, Chester. Thanks Dave, I'm just experimenting with the diorama on ebay. And you're welcome here anytime but I would recommend warmer weather.

I am glad to see that others really like your work. The auction ended at $199.10. Nice going Chester. ;D It looks like your 1/87 (HO ) scale vintage Autocar coal delivery truck is going to do almost as good.

Chester, It looks like your work is really becoming a hot commodity on eBay. That little truck of yours just may break the $100 mark. I just glad I got mine before everyone else found out about your work. ;D

I don't think I've ever done any model when I thought I couldn't do more to it. Such is with this diorama. I'm calling it finished however. I was most interested in the barn construction from paper and do think that a lot of details would take the eye away from the way the light was coming to the building. OK that sounds like a good excuse not to do a lot of rusted delapidated stuff around doesn't it? Anyway, the ground cover was finished and you'll see I had way too much coffee to drink this morning. The last few pictures are a finished 1/87 diorama: public.fotki.com/stryper50/187_scale_dioramas/old_barn/

That´s the best in diorama I´ve ever seen. You´ll get lot of prices if you are going in competition. For a while some of your photos will be the backgroundphoto of my Laptop! Thanks for this fun... nick

Now is your chance to poke around in the boat shed that Chester built. It is on eBay: 1/87 (HO) scale Harbor Diorama with lobster boat Just to bad that I don't have the room for something that nice.

Hmmmm. After looking at your scene, I came to the conclusion that your fisherman is using the wrong pole.
