The Maybach is perfect. The gaudiness becomes even more shocking in white, and the Monte Carlo plates are the perfect finishing touch.
Are the flowers included in the kit? Impressive.

Eric, I did not mean to exclude the flowershop, it is exquisite. I guess I got excited, as it brought happy remembrances of Amsterdam.

Shocking indeed, a Maybach is pretty over the top already, and a Landaulet in white tops that easily... The MC plates are by TL decals by the way, it's a pity they didn't have Dubai plates. No flowers included in the kit, I used the flowers from Busch and replaced the kits resin buckets by Preiser plastic ones.

Some models that have left the workbench the last couple of months: Trident Chevy Suburban, repainted, Roco rims with Trident tires, Busch (I think) lightbar, runningboards by Plano, Police decals from ... (it was a US company but I can not remember the name right now.. ) And some Roco Minitanks Hummers, painted in NATO-camouflage. Comments welcome as always ! By the way, the Hummer with the Mercedes star on the grille really exists...

Excellent detailing Eric. Did you do all the camo by hand? And I really like those Roco rims on the 'burb.

Chester,
everything is hand-painted. There seem to be drawings with camo standard patterns but I haven't bothered replicating an exact scheme. Both Hummers just have a random pattern of bronze green, tar black and chocolate brown which was not very difficult to do.

Some more that have left (or almost left...) the workbench. First up is a BS-Design resin kit of a Ferrari 512S (One of the better BS-Design kits). I have added a photo-etched wiper, exhausts from plastic tubing and used crystals for the rear lights. Second one is a Herpa Ferrari F40 converted to the IMSA version driven by Jean Alesi. Repainted the model and converted to single-seat, altered the front and rear spoilers, decals are from the Miber F40. Third model is the Schuco Alfa Spider, repainted and decalled to represent a highway patrol car of the Dutch Rijkspolitie. This one's not completely ready yet, I still need 'Rijkspolitie' decals for the hood and the trunk/boot. Fourth is a SES Lada 2104, repainted and with JBOT Russian police decals. Not quite finished either, still need to correct some painting mistakes I made when painting the black part around the windows. Comments welcome as always !
