Nice looking build so far. Can you tell us about those exhaust stacks? Another impressive truck.

The exhaust pipes consist of 7 parts each. An 1,6mm needle as last part of the exhaust, an 2mm/1,6mm tube as muffler, two 2,5mm/2,1mm tubes as spacer, an 0,2mm photo etched punched sheet wraped around the spacer, two rings out of 0,28 cooper wire and an Evergreen stripe at the back as mounting. Meanwhile I builded a ballastbox with a hydraulic aggregat. As usual a lot of Evergreen was used. I builded a mold of the hydraulic unit, since it can be used for a variety of jobs.

Thanks for the kind words. Cor I'm still visiting this messageboard every day. But I don't have big output of models, that is the reason why I don't post this much. Another point why I don't post much in progress pics, is that I'm moved my workbench to the basement, and my cam is in my room under the roof, so I can't make pictures spontaneously.
Chester till I had this project started I always thought the Alloy Forms cab is good. but when I started to investigate the differences between the different years of Autocar cabs I noticed, that the Alloy Form cab has two big mistakes, that are not easy to correct. The cab that is represented by the Alloy Forms cab has curved windows, and the curvation on the backside is to strong. I would like to get an Sheepscot cab to see if this one is a better basis, but it is impossible to get one because George Barrett seems not to be willing to sell anything, even though he has some kind of webshop. I tried once to get some cabs of him, but after some mails with him he didn't answered anymore. It is a shame because I need his Mack BX (because the Alloy Forms Mack BX cab is to wide) and his Autocar cabs.

Very nice, and I liked the way the m75 turned out too. I'll be seeing George in the future and am going to get the story on what a guy needs to do to get his pieces. His A'cars are top notch.

After all the years I've got the M75SX I'm still happy with it, but I got a second one waiting to be build. I'm curious in the outcome of your talk with George. Still want to buy severals Models of him including the Manitowoc.
