I have a feeling that Thomas produces these trucks at about the same pace does the real Nicolas factory. How many Nicolas trucks have been built, I wonder?

How many Nicolas trucks have been built? A good question. Last Year 4 were built for Rotran. This year 3 will be added. Official from 1977 to 1985 there were built around 15 to 30 per year. After 1985 around 5 to 10 were built per year. It should be around 220 to 450 trucks. But I only know about 36 and one wrecked. It is very hard to find informations about Nicolas trucks around the world. Some says even Nicolas don't know where all the trucks works. May producing pace is a bit slower than the pace of the real Nicolas factory A good Message board Thread about Nicolas is this one www.hansebubeforum.de/showtopic.php?threadid=4700&time=1160555156&s=afe84230d896bd99dad8f9cf3ccacfff but it is in german..

Painting is my weak side, but yours looks pretty good besides some bleeding on the roofs. It's always nervous to grab an airbrush andapproach something one has spent hours building - it can all be ruined so very quickly.

Chester a very good question. I got it from a friend but I don't know where he got it from. It is specially for modelling. Sometimes I use very fine corroded lattices. But this one is like woven. In compare to the corroded one it is very thick. Hakan if you would see the paintjob in real you would see it was very near to ruin the cab

Again something form my workbench. First a Wiking Peterbilt, which has been extended. I orientated myself at the gotwheelbase Pete. Second is a Herpa Peterbilt COE. I decided to build a Moving Truck. I extended the wheelbase to add a Drom Box. Third is a house build out of wood. It will be Part of a desert dioram placed in the USA. It will be a car service, a gas station and a restaurant all in one place.
