I think it's not difficult to find a linotypist in NY, as there is one also in my small town. In Italy there are I think few companies who make photoetching, but I think you'll find thousands in the USA. These are some addresses in Italy: www.cm-italia.it/www.chimimetal.com/www.sigrav.it/Front and back films are used to etch the front and the rear side of the plate, or to make passing or not passing etches.

Absolutely beautiful work my friend. I am extremely impressed with your hydraulic line work, it looks spot-on prototypical. Great tip about the underwear band material as well.
