Nice idea with the donkey creating a traffic jamb. Dear Sirs: In some places of the world, even today, that is a fact. Hence, that is a very good ideia to display!

Dear Eric:
Nice subjects, and they are looking good.
Quick question: what is the basis of the Kart? The Hot Wheels and Maisto I have look a tad like it,but these are,I assume, bigger than 1/87. Is that scratchbuilt?

Eric: I've a picture (in Afghanistan I believe) of a couple of tired looking donkeys pulling what's left of a flatbed truck [motor gone] now being used as a wagon.
If I can find that again, maybe I can make that. Nice model.

Quick question: what is the basis of the Kart? It is a kit actually, it's made by Automobilia and consists of photo-etched and cast brass parts. Assembly is quite easy if you have worked with p-e before, but I wouldn't recommend building this as your first 1/87 kit. Patience and a steady hand are absolutely necessary.

The cart does look like it needs good eyes and a steady hand, nice kit, nice job. The bundles of straw in the cart are terrific, a nice detail for what's shaping up to be a great dio.

Something new has landed on the workbench, inspired by Chesters models for which he used the old Wiking Chevy cab I am now working on a Chevy with an Evergreen body. After the first coat of paint the model now looks like this: Comments welcome !

Beautiful job Eric, I love that truck. Is that one of the clear resin cabs? (wondering how you got the glass to look so good)

Dear Eric:
Beautiful job!! It looks very nice.
I have a complete truck from Wiking and only a cab from it.Now I am tempted to do something to the latter.
