Dear Eric:
Loved the flames-on Coupe. I almost confused that with one Willys.Nice job on it.
Liked the diorama as well.Lots of details.

nice diorama, good weathering and interesting buildings. What is ISAF? I guess I could just do a websearch and see what comes up... How big is the diorama going to be, # of vehicles etc?

Skunk,
ISAF is the international stabilisation force in Afghanistan. German ISAF forces use (besides other vehicles ofcourse) Unimogs in various versions.
Eric
PS: the pics have lost a lot of quality, better ones will follow !

You have a lot going on, the houses are really cool. What did you make them from? And the coupe is sharp, looks like you did the flames by hand, great job. Thanks for the eye candy.

Skunk, forgot to answer this earlier The diorama is 20x30cm, it will have three vehicles in total (the two Unimogs and a donkey-cart ;D ) Here is the diorama pictured from above: As you can see the rock/sand surface is not quite finished yet and grass and bushes are also still missing.

Well, I don't like waiting for drying paint or setting glue so I just have multiple projects going at the same time... ;D the houses are really cool. What did you make them from? The houses are made of wood and then covered with a layer of adhesive filler (it's called Porion over here, don't know if it is available elsewhere). Once dry the filler is easily sanded and it can also be painted with water-based paints. And the coupe is sharp, looks like you did the flames by hand The flames were done by hand indeed, the black lines around the yellow were drawn with a 0,2mm waterproof fineliner. Still needs touch-ups here and there though, I am not quite happy with the result sofar.

Nice job Eric. And those buildings on the diorama looks very realistic. Once finished the diorama, if you take pictures with real sunlight it will look amazing.

Eric, that looks great, may be less chrome on the wheels, because ´s not a new cart. How you ´ll do the "connection" with the animal? nick ingmar

The whole cart will be weathered, you can rest assured that nothing of the shiny chrome will remain on those wheels ;D
As for the donkey, originally I was planning to give the donkey a day off and just put the cart at the side of the road, but putting the donkey in front of the cart and in the way of the Unimogs is a nice idea too. I think I'll do some experimenting with tape to see if that works... I'll post a picture the results !

Nice idea with the donkey creating a traffic jamb. Stubborn animals. How about just some thread for the harnesswork that hitches it to the wagon? Lee, you're right!
