Pen Bay makes decals that are supposed to represent amber lights.
Oh, and Happy Birthday!

As for those blinkers, maybe a fine-tipped, orange permanent marker may be your answer? Hmm, difficult, I am afraid a marker might slip on the rounded shape of the headlights. I think I'll try Chesters's decal suggestion first... Myself, I would use a scriber to delineate the proper shape on the headlight, and then paint it, using clear orange. Of course, I also have a spare 350Z in case I botch it.

Here's the Beetle... it has a scratchbuilt interior in the boot/trunk but it still needs some detail painting and a huge exhaust ;D

I've recently acquired about a dozen older Herpa models, here is one of them 'in the works'. No major changes were made but there are a couple of differences between this one and an out-of-the-box tractor. The Volvo in this picture still needs some small details (antennae for instance)

And I like the Fiat. Eric, if you're looking for some inspiration for your other trucks, ever come across www.mbmcargotech.nl ? In their Euro Transports Section they feature a lot of the early Herpa era type of trucks. And I have a suspicion that the photographer there did also the pictures the DMC decals were based on.

It is nice the look of the "Fiat" logo. And I like that Rover 3500 in the background

While I am at it.. this is how my Furuta 350Z looks at the moment. It is almost finished, but I haven't found a way to make the small orange turnsignals next to the headlights yet. Any suggestions ? that Z is cool i have got to get me one of those.

Not being interested in Militaria itself, I can not say anything about the tank. But the idea with the plate is nice, very nice! The sandstones really look realistic, the broken out parts are fantastic! Do you plan to set this on a bigger diorama? It would really fit in the front of a historical building or the headquarter of some baracks, especially on a grass area. Maybe with a bronze plate with some historical info attached... Your pictures are also interesting in the background. The DeTomaso looks terrific as far as it is possible to judge through the blurry scoping. Do you remember what blue paint you used on the truck in the back? I'm looking for such a kind of shade (right between dark and bright blue, just blue so to say ), but wasn't able to find the right paint so far.

Maybe with a bronze plate with some historical info attached... It is going to be a part of a larger diorama indeed, the plate with historical info is in the works ;D The DeTomaso looks terrific as far as it is possible to judge through the blurry scoping. It's the Miber Pantera, I'll post some pictures after I have shortened the axles. The wheels are way out of the wheel arches at the moment and that doesn't look too good. Do you remember what blue paint you used on the truck in the back? I'm looking for such a kind of shade (right between dark and bright blue, just blue so to say ), but wasn't able to find the right paint so far. I sure do, it's Humbrol #48

I like the display too. (some brass chains from pier to pier maybe??) I was planning to do that, I am going to use the blackened brass chain from a Roco Minitanks accessory set for it. Making the little hooks of brass wire to attach the chains to the piers is one of the things I plan to do after I have found a gallon of patience somewhere ;D ;D

I sure do, it's Humbrol #48 Hmm, it looked a bit brighter on the images. I'm using Humbrol #48 al lot, maybe even a little too much, that's the reason I'm looking for another blue in that brightness area. I have a special kind of blue in mind, so I'll just keep on looking out.
