In the September 2004 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman on page 107 is a very nice product review done by Douglas Harding of the SMCC-636, 1938 GMC flatbed truck. It is over a full half page with a color picture. At the end of the review Douglas says he plans to get more. ;D I really wish him lots of luck with his search. I ran a search engine for Stoney Mountain Classic Castings on the web. The first hit was of course 87thscale.info. The second hit was a listing for Stoney Mountain Classic Castings in the 1/87 Vehicle manufactures listing. It gave the old address in Castaic, Ca. along with two phone numbers. Either Stoney Mountain Classic Castings is alive and well doing business out of Castaic, California or the ghost of a company dead now for four years is still with us.

Womble, It has occured to me that you do not yet have enough posts to put anything in the tradezone yet. Therefore, for the sake of expediting any trades/sales, why don't you post what you wish to sell/trade here. Any objections?
I myself am interested in the previously mentioned '38 GMC faltbed but I have my sights set on several others as well.

I believe that all of us are mainly into cars and trucks, but if you have the time, feel free to list any and all items that you may have.
cheers

I think there was a shop out my way that still had the smcc junkyard scens (5-6 wrecked cars moulded on a base). If anyone is interested I will check and see the next time I am in and pick them up. MARK

As for myself, I'm interested in 3 models:
SMC 634: 1952 Ford Woody Station wagon SMC 641: 1952 Ford Coupe 2-door SMC 616: 1951 Nash Ambassador Sedan 4-door
If you have them, they will be more than welcome… ;D
Many thanks for your offer!

Well, keep on like that and you can post in the tradezone - which has a certain advantage over the general section in regard to "business" matters.

I am quite interested in SMC601 Buick Roadmaster and SMC640 Ford 1952 Sedan, but if someone wants the whole collection then I wont interfere.
If any other yanks want to buy from Womble, I suggest we combine the shipping, as it can get quite expensive from Oz.
