Hello, News from JMK: A 480 ES is available - in a very limited amount. It's a pity for you that Brekina came with this model as well, or is this another type? That problem we will always have. Building an interresting model and then we find out that the big producers made the same choise. Cor.

Somebody gimme a Volvo 66... there's an unloved car if there ever was one. Hi Folks, Here someting else: www.dafclub.nl/The 46; 55 and 66 were at last produced by Volvo Because they took over the Daf car works. Later the 66 became Volvo 66. The truck devision was separated and, as you all know, was later taken over by Paccar. Great Kenworths they makes with the Daf cabines! Cor.

I just found the Daf 66 Combi and the Volvo 66 Combi: www.miniaturen-manufaktur.de/images/bild109_579.jpgAs far as I can see are they pretty good. I'll order a few of them to make a sedan to combine the Haubrich and Focus model. Cor.

So they are not new, just rererereleased. ;D ;D

Wow, congratulations on what looks like a most comprehensive listing of Volvo models. A daunting task, well done.

Luxembourg! Really? I think this may be the closest I have ever been to meeting a genuine Luxemburger.
And with Néo, we will see some more Swedish steel in 87th scale soon! Whoop tee doo.

Michelle Hello Michelle ! Welcome to the 87th Messageboard ! And it's particular nice to welcome a female member And thanks a lot for the link to the incredible impressive list of Volvo model cars. You have done a really respectable work with this list ! As a H0 addict, I had to scroll down to find the 1/87 models, and there were several variations even on Brekina and Wiking models that I was not aware of until now. Just great to see that you are listing the prototype years for the cars too. But please allow me to mention a minor correction: Brekina's Amazon models does not represent 1962 model year, their front grille seems to me to be the 1967-1970 models, i.e. the latest version. I still wonder why Brekina has not taken the opportunity to make different grilles from earlier models too. Luxembourg - a really beautiful place which I had the great pleasure to visit a few years ago

Hi,
Well it seems that you're right with the model year of the Amazon. I will change it. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that you took the time to check my list. The model years with 'one' are those where I am not sure.
I was able to do this list over the last 15 month because I lost my job and I had a lot of spare time for such silly things like researching Volvo model cars all over the web. Before that I already had a list but only about the models from my small collection.
I'm doing the H0 thing because I'm mainly modeling trains from the east side of the States ( 1900 to 1940's ).
I hope this list can serve to other people too. Just ask me if someone needs a pic of a model. I have a lot in my collection.
The next project will be to realize a real database with search functions. But my programming skills are to bad and I don't like to spend my time doing that. So I'm still looking for the one who will do it.
Thanks a lot and happy greetings from Luxembourg.
Michelle
So far I was never in Norway but NY is one of my favorite places.

Dear Michelle:
And think you for listing Volvos in all scales! I even did not knew that many existed in 1/55 - 1/64 scale range.

Hi,
Well as I started this list for my personal use, I was really not aware that I would once find so many models in so many different scales. A year ago I found a really nice Volvo website about scale models. Since then that guy made it possible to me putting my list online. Now everyone can use it. A new update will be online soon. In my latest list I have nearly reached 3250 models. I never would have imagined that so many Volvo models were available.
The next step will be a database with search functions and hopefully some day a picture with every reference.
So far I have 176 Volvo's in 1:43 and 150 in H0 scale. And about 20 in all different scales.
Besides the Volvo's, I'm also modeling the US east coast in model trains - mainly PM, C&O and logging.
