Everyone (including me) was impressed when Wiking came out with it's version of the PV544. And I know there is a Shuco out there. Praline and Busch both make Volvos and Motorart has a beautiful line of Volvo construction vehicles. I'm sitting here looking at a pretty respectable IMU 760 GSL wagon. I know if I dig, I can come up with more but this is easier and besides, you guys love it.

Chester:
Wiking also made a model of the Volvo 264 sedan from 1976 to 1986. There was also the very nice 850 wagon which just went out of production last year (I cleverly stocked up on them).
Brekina has 3 outstanding versions of the Volvo Amazon (122 in the U.S.). There are 2-door and 4-door sedans and a new station wagon (kombi).
The Brekina 4-door was one of the 2003 "Best of the Best" models reviewed in Issue 17 of Route 1-87.
Now I am hoping someone (Brekina? Wiking?) will make a model of the 140-series from the 1970s.
I believe there were also some Focus resin models and isn't Christian doing a new Volvo model in resin?
Herpa makes nice models of some of the Volvo trucks and Roco offered several variations on the FL10 in its Miniaturmodelle line.

Focus apparently made a number of Volvos, including 340s, 360s, 480s, and even 240 ambulances.
A P1800 was also made by Focus, and by Eko as well. Decent model, although mine seems to have come equipped with suicide doors - bizarre.
Some small-scale Swedish manufacturers also offer various Volvo trucks and also the 1950's Volvo PV832, affectionately known as "the sow." This was a big, bulky limousine usually used as a taxi.
I would personally be very excited to see a Volvo "Duett" (PV 210 or PV445). In the town of Valbo a number of rather handsome PV convertibles were also built (on the Duett chassis, the PV444 was of monocoque construction) in the 1950s, this could make a fun conversion.

One of the small Swedish manufacturers, JES makes the N10/12 that looks to be a resin casting of the Wiking (which I forgot to mention and one of my personal favorites) and I believe they did it in a sleeper version too. Jacobs Models makes a resin VNL 420 (a very popular highway tractor in the US). And thanks Bill for mentioning the Roco FL10 it happens to be one of the more nicely done trucks in 1/87 in my opinion. Great detail, prototypically correct and I can't bring myself to doing anything with it. The one I have has the absolute best reefer unit made in scale.

Would anyone be interested in models of current Volvos, like the S80 and XC90?

Håkan,
Tomorrow (saturday) I'll have the Daf 55 for you if "the man from Focus" brings the model to the swapmeet as he promished. Interesting in the Daf 33 as well?

Would anyone be interested in models of current Volvos, like the S80 and XC90? I am. A V70 would also be nice. The most common car in Sweden? Or a 245... /Jonas
